Fast Food Manager –Tauranga, Bay of Plenty

We are seeking a Fast Food Manager to lead our Tauranga restaurant, overseeing all aspects of operations and ensuring every customer enjoys an outstanding dining experience. What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, staffing, kitchen coordination, and workflow
  • Take full accountability for business performance, profitability, and growth outcomes
  • Exercise independent authority to plan, develop, and update menus, including introducing new products and seasonal offerings
  • Hold decision-making responsibility for pricing strategies, promotions, and cost control to ensure commercial viability
  • Manage product mix, purchasing, and stock levels to ensure efficient operations and minimise waste
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional initiatives to attract and retain customers
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, wages, and financial transactions, and manage operational budgets
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and roster staff to ensure high performance and consistent service standards
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health and safety regulations

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality management, or a Diploma in Management, or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues professionally
  • Solid understanding of stock control, budgeting, and compliance requirements
  • Passion for food quality, innovation, and business growth

Role Details:

  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: At least 30 hours weekly (up to 48 hours)
  • Pay Rate: $30.00 – $32.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
