We are seeking a motivated Duty Manager to join our Auckland-based team. This role involves managing daily kitchen and store operations, leading staff, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, operational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining a positive and professional workplace. You will be required to work between minimum 30 hours to maximum 40 hours per week as per roster or longer hours if required.  You may also ask to work on weekends or public holidays.

 

Job Responsibilities

·       Drive and maintain an excellent customer service culture across the venue.

·       Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency.

·        Support sales growth initiatives to achieve company targets.

·       Ensure the highest standards of food quality, beverage service, and presentation are consistently met.

·        Assist the Store Manager with cost control, financial oversight, and administrative responsibilities.

·       Train, supervise, and develop staff, identifying opportunities for further training and performance improvement.

·        Address and resolve customer complaints professionally while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across kitchen and front-of-house areas.

 

Key requirements:

 

·       Should have at least 2 years of Industry Work Experience or Level 5 Diploma or higher qualification (Any study stream)

·       Have the ability and responsibility to manage all restaurant operations, include staff, food ordering, ability to manage store during peak time.

·       Should have Positive Attitude

·       You must be reliable and physically fit.

·       Zero tolerance of drugs at workplace.

·       Passion to train and mentor team members coming through the kitchen.

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $25 per hour to $35 per hour.
