Bar Staff

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve cocktails and beverages in line with the cocktail menu and quality standards.
• Serve bottled, canned, and draft beverages, ensuring accuracy, speed, and responsible service.
• Engage warmly with guests—taking orders, offering drink recommendations, and delivering a memorable hospitality experience.
• Operate POS systems and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Promote featured cocktails, specials, and events, helping drive sales and guest engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar, including wiping surfaces, clearing used glassware, and restocking garnishes and supplies.
• Wash, polish, and arrange glassware to maintain the premium presentation expected.
• Tap kegs, set up and maintain bar supply lines, and monitor stock levels throughout the shift.
• Replenish fridges, shelves, and dispensers to ensure all beverages are readily available during service.
• Support the delivery of light bar snacks where offered.

Skills & Attributes

• Have around one year of work experience in a relevant field, or qualification
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and engaging personality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, nightlife environment
• Cocktail-making knowledge and willingness to learn signature recipes
• Accuracy in cash handling and POS operation
• Excellent attention to cleanliness and presentation
• A team player with reliability and strong work ethic
