Looking for a "Food and Beverage Manager"

We are a very busy restaurant and in need of Food and Beverage Manager.

The hours of work are on weekly rooster from monday through sunday, including public holidays. The hourly wage is $30.00-$35.00. Permanent full time minimum is 32 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Organize and coordinate restaurant operations.
  • Coordination with suppliers/vendors.
  • Recruit temporary/part-time staff.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Menu development in consultation with management, team and chef.
  • Manage day to day operations - Schedule rostering needs of the business.
  • Schedule purchashing and inventory control.
  • Maintain records of stocks and financial records.
  • Supervise staff and manage online orders and deliveries.
  • Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards.
  • Maintain and train staff to ensure compliance to health and safety regulations review and prepare reports for the director/company.
  • Ensure full compliance with NZ liquor licensing laws, health and safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Handle all guest complaints, request, and enquiries, ensuring a consistently high level of guest satisfaction.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of at least 2 years in tertiary education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in customer services.
  • Be familiar to our menus and drinks.
  • Ability to ensure complaince with standards and regulations of our restaurants.
  • Knowledged or experienced with the prepation and handling food and beverages.
  • Be able and willing to work under pressure in a busy establishment.
  • Be able to follow health and safety measures at work.
  • Be physically fit- able to stand and work or move around.
  • Have a positive can- Do attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Attend meetings and report to the directors.
  • Hold a Manager's Certificate and Licence controller Qualification (LCQ).
