Taipa Coffee & Bakery in Northland region currently looks for two hardworking and reliable Kitchenhands to join us. Working hours is from 30 to 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $24 to $26 per hour. 

Location: Taipa, Northland Region

Your duties will include:

  • Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, appliances, cutting boards, trays etc. 

  • Remove rubbish and clean kitchen floor.

  • Unpack and store delivered food supplies.

  • Restock used items and inform when food supplies are running low.

  • Wash, clean, peel, cut, and chop fruit, vegetables, poultry, and meat.

  • Prepare salads, savouries, and sandwiches.

  • Prepare pastry fillings, sauces and side dishes. 

  • Pack food items and beverage for serving. 

  • Perform any other related duties as required.

Required skills and attributes:

  • Able to start at 5am, available to work on weekends and public holidays.

  • Physically fit for tasks that requires physical strength such as heavy liftings or standing for extended period.

  • Ability to learn fast and can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Must have own transport for early start at 5am.

  • Be reliable and punctual.

  • Relevant experience is preferable but not essential.
