Job description

  • taking customer orders for food and drinks, serving items, and processing payments
  • cooking a variety of fast-food items such as burgers, fish and chips
  • washing, measuring, mixing, and cutting ingredients, including the ability to cut and prepare fish
  • using kitchen equipment such as grills, microwaves, and deep fryers safely and efficiently
  • maintaining cleanliness of food preparation areas, cooking equipment, and utensils
  • ordering fast food supplies and accepting deliveries of ingredients
  • arranging delivery of prepared food and beverages when required
  • preparing a limited range of food items in a fast-food environment
  • carrying out other reasonable tasks as directed by the employer

  • Location: Wellington
  • Job type: Full-time Permanent
  • Pay rate: 24.00 – 30.00 New Zealand dollars per hour
  • Days required: Monday to Sunday
  • Hours per week: At least 35

Job Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience or a relevant NZ level 1 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification is required.
