Seafood Paradise Restaurant and Bar in Auckland is looking for full-time restaurant manager to join our team, responsible for organising and controlling the operations of the restaurant to provide dining and catering services.

This is a full time permanent position, you will work 30-40 hours per week on the roster (minimum 30 hours guarantee), with hourly rate $32.00-38.00, depends on your skills, qualification and work experience.

We open 7 days a week 11:30 am -10:00pm, please be aware that you may need to work on nights, weekends and public holidays.

Key duties will include:

  • planning menus when required, in consultation with Chefs
  • planning and organising special functions/catering service
  • arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
  • conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
  • may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders any other duties that may be assigned by the owner.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in restaurant management or a relevant diploma or higher qualification in management/business/hospitality
  • Available to work on weekends and public holidays when required
  • Drug free with clean police certificate
