Cook needed

We Found Limited is located in Wangarei. We provide top-class Sushi and Japanese food for travelers and locals. We now need two Cooks to help us to provide top-quality food. This is a full-time job with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week. The salary range is $25 to $27

The job involves the following tasks and duties: 

·       Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant

·       Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking and presentation

·       Demonstrating cooking techniques and procedures to the kitchen staffs

·       Providing training of cooking technique or health regulation, if necessary

·       Supervising performance of kitchen staffs

·       Improving dishes and developing chef’s menu

·       Managing the overall operation of kitchen

·       Ordering supplies and stocks

·       Estimating food and labour cost and assisting in cost control

·       Ensuring kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

To qualify for the job, you need to have 2-year work experience in commercial kitchen, or Lv4 or above cookery qualification. Bachelor Degree in any major can also meet qualification requirement. You should have can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours. You should also have good interpersonal skills in order to coordinate duties in the kitchen.
