We are seeking Front of House Supervisor (x1) to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full-time role (minimum of 30 hours a week).
The Role
Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

Take customer orders and serve food and beverages in line with café standards

Operate POS systems and process customer payments
-
Prepare tables and maintain cleanliness of front-of-house areas
-
Provide courteous and efficient customer service and respond to enquiries
-
Support smooth service flow by coordinating with kitchen staff during service
-
Assist new staff with on-the-job guidance/training during shifts
-
Help organise daily service duties under the direction of the Café Manager
-
Report service issues or customer complaints to the Café Manager
-
Follow and promote workplace health and safety and food hygiene practices
Our successful applicants will have:
-
At least 1 year’s relevant work experience or a NZQF level 2 or higher relevant qualification
-
NZ relevant work experience is preferable
-
Works well under pressure
-
Likes a fast pace life
-
A good level of physical fitness

Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team

Highly responsible and reliable
-
Accept flexible working hours – rostered shifts

Able to work at weekends and public holidays

Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers
