We are looking for a dedicated cook for Stallions bar & grill in Cambridge. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate $ 25 per hour. You are required to work as per the roster, and need to be available on weekends and late evenings.  

• Day to day preparation of food menu. 

• Operating combi oven and smoker.

• Ensuring high levels of quality in dishes through skilled cooking practices and examining dishes before they leave the kitchen

• Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times, including cleaning your own station and equipment

• Assisting to planning and reviewing the menu if required

• Storing food and organising dated food items to assist with controlling wastage

• Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements

• Training other/junior staff when required

• Following food and safety requirements

• Other reasonable kitchen duties as required from time to time

 

Requirements

• • Knowledge and understanding of european cuisine or fusion 
• • Proven ability to work under pressure
• • Minimum 1 year experience in Indian cuisine
• • Reliable and organised
• • Qualifications/certificates in cookery and hospitality advantageous but not essential
