Crew Member

Job Summary:

We are looking for Crew Members (3 positions) available to come and join our Fast-food chain in Christchurch. The Crew Member is responsible and accountable for performing specific tasks and duties, as assigned, within the restaurant.  

The Crew Member provides each guest with a positive guest service experience, prepares quality food products and keeps the restaurant clean.

This is full-time role, and we offer a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a maximum of up to 50 hours. The pay rate for this job is between $24 and $26, depending on experience. We are Looking for a committed, hard-working candidate!

Job Description:

The tasks you will do:

• Taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payments from customers
• Preparing fast food items such as burgers, wraps  chips and other menu items
• Washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients for cooking
• Operating cooking equipment including grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers
• Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
• Ordering and receiving deliveries of fast food ingredients
• May assist in arranging delivery of prepared food and beverages
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations

•  A passion for food and a willingness to learn.
• Some experience or knowledge of kitchen work and basic food safety practices.
• Good personal hygiene and the ability to maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
• Reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as rostered.
• Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is a bonus but not required training will be provided.
