Personal Assistant to Director – Motel Group
Location: Takapuna, Auckland
BT Burwood Limited, we are operating seven motels across New Zealand and Australia, with further expansion planned across Australia. To support our Director and multi-site operations, we are seeking a highly organised and reliable Personal Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with senior leadership, and can confidently manage administrative and operational coordination across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the Director, motel managers, staff, and external stakeholders
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and operational matters across multiple motel locations
• Prepare reports, briefing notes, correspondence, and other business documents
• Maintain confidential files, records, and operational documentation
• Manage the Director’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements (NZ & Australia)
• Attend meetings as required, take minutes, and follow up on action items
• Screen calls, handle enquiries, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Process mail, emails, filing, and record-keeping accurately and efficiently
• Take and transcribe dictation for letters, reports, and operational documents
• Support business growth initiatives, including planning for new motel openings and acquisitions
What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience or Diploma in management, or a Bachelor’s degree in any field
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator with internal teams and external service providers
• Experience in hospitality or multi-site operations is an advantage

Hours: Full-time (30–48 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour (depending on experience)
