$34.30 to $48.27 per hour
Carejobz Recruitment is pleased to invite applications from experienced, registered Midwives for a high-quality maternity service in Gippsland, Victoria.
As part of a significant service expansion, the hospital has invested in additional birth suites, expanded maternity inpatient beds, a 24/7 Maternity Assessment Unit, and a Special Care Nursery supporting up to 12 babies. The service is also progressing innovative models of care, including the upcoming launch of a Midwifery Group Practice (MGP).

About the Role
As a Registered Midwife, you will:

Deliver high-quality, family-centred maternity care within a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Partner with women and families to evaluate and optimise maternity care outcomes

Respond confidently to clinical changes and emergency situations
-
Contribute to quality improvement through CPD, research, mentoring, clinical supervision, and policy development
-
Participate in patient safety and quality education aligned with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
-
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EMR systems
-
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate midwifery care in line with best practice
-
Practise within scope while seeking support when required
-
Respect the rights, beliefs, and cultural values of women and families
