Role Overview: 


Esther is a signature dining and event destination within QT Hotels & Resorts. As the Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager to lead a dynamic team across restaurant service and event operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, coordinating seamless events, and driving operational excellence. You’ll help shape a culture of empowerment, innovation, and connection - making every day better for our guests, our team, and our community.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekend and evening availability is essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

•    Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and developing the F&B and events team.
•    Oversee daily operations across restaurant service and event delivery.
•    Ensure high standards of guest experience, service, and presentation.
•    Coordinate and execute events, managing logistics and client expectations.
•    Monitor inventory, costs, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
•    Assist with scheduling, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

•    At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in food and beverage operations, within a 5-star luxury hospitality environment
•    Current LCQ
•    Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
•    A proactive, hands-on leader with a focus on service excellence.
•    Passion for creating memorable guest experiences. 
•    Flexibility to work across shifts, weekends, and event schedules.
