Some of the Responsibilities:
- Assists the Restaurant Manager in ensuring that your outlet operates successfully and in accordance with brand standards.
- Works closely with the other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of guests.
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships. Handles guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and reports guest complaints or problems to supervisors if there is no immediate solution and assure follow up with guests.
- To have full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards.
- Assists in on-boarding and training new team members
- Assists to maximize the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and/or mentoring.
- Assist with cost control of payroll and expenses.
What you need:
- 3 years experience as a Senior Waiter/ Team Leader in a similar formal dining venue or 2 year experience as an assistant manager
- 5 Star hotel experience the must
- Strong knowledge of wines and other beverages
- Prevouse Bar/ Mixologist experience is preferable
- Strong food and beverage service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- NZ citizen/resident or working visa
