Team Member

Vainav Limited is a dynamic and fast-paced kebab eatery, specialising in authentic kebabs and a range of quick-serve meals. We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and dedicated Team Member to join our team in Hamilton, contributing to high-quality food preparation and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare kebabs and other menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and quality standards.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and efficient customer service, including taking orders, handling payments, and serving food promptly.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation during service.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment such as grills, rotisseries, fryers, ovens, and microwaves.
• Ensure all cooked food is removed promptly from equipment and kept at safe serving temperatures.
• Store food items, ingredients, utensils, and equipment correctly to maintain freshness and hygiene.
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean, hygienic, and well-organised.
• Receive, check, and verify stock deliveries against delivery dockets, reporting any discrepancies.
• Regularly clean and sanitise food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist with the preparation, packaging, and serving of food and beverages to customers.
• Work cooperatively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management to support business needs.

Work Hours and Benefits
- Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week
- Paid between $24.00 to $28 per hour.

Other requirements:
• Relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory as we provide full training.
• Available to work on weekends and late evenings.
• Comfortable working on rostered shifts
