We are looking for one cook at our Burgershop to work full-time in Auckland.
Cook is expected to work a minimum of 32-35 hours a week with a weekly payroll.
Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might include weekend shifts.
Pay Rate: $23.00-$24.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Assist the manager/owner when changing the menu and creating new deals.
2. Assist in restaurant operations including the food preparations, customer booking records and take away arrangement.
3. Managing financial transaction and maintaining records of daily invoices, update to manager if there are any issues
4. Prepare and cook tasty burgers following the provided instructions, then deliver the orders to customers.
5. Help manager on researching market and find different ways to attract customers.
6. Assisting in planning and preparing marketing and promotional activities such as creating
vouchers, updating website and update promotion images on advertising screens.
7. Arranging, managing and organising special functions and events.
8. Ensuring high standards of customer services and handling customer complaints on
absence of manager.
9. Training, selecting and supervising staff and establishing the minimum standards for staff.
10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and personal hygiene.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Cook Requirements:
1. Relevant (minimum level 5 cullinary arts) qualification AND minimum four years of
work experience in chef/cook role.
2. Numeracy skills required.
3. Good oral/written communication skills.
4. Basic computer literacy.
5. Full drivers and LCQ Licence is MUST
