Are you passionate about great coffee and outstanding customer service? We are on the lookout for two Café Managers for our stores in Christchurch, Canterbury region who can oversee the smooth running of our business.
You will be guaranteed minimum 30 hours weekly. It is a permanent full-time role. The pay rate ranges from $29 to $35.
Key Responsibilities:
- planning and organising special functions or event bookings.
- arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
- maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
- ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
- conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
- selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
- may take reservations, greet guests and assist in taking orders
- Manage cash register and be meticulous in cash handling, and financials of the business.
- Maintaining wage percentage and gross profit
- Hiring and training staff, scheduling rosters and managing their performance
To be successful you will need to:
- Have at least three years work experience in a relevant field, or a relevant Diploma or higher qualification
- Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
- Be physically fit and willing to work hard, reliable and punctual
- Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
- Have "can-do" attitude
