Caregivers

We are currently seeking Caregivers to join our team in Christchurch. This is a meaningful opportunity to be part of a dedicated care home that truly values its people and their contribution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care (showering, dressing, eating, etc.)
- Support mobility and communication needs
- Participate in the planning and delivery of individual care plans
- Implement therapy interventions for dementia and behavioural support
- Monitor and report changes in condition or care concerns
- Assist with rehabilitation, basic treatments, and medication delivery
- Provide hands-on support to therapists

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience or NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent)
- Able to work 30–40 hours per week on a rotating 24/7 roster (including weekends)
- Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Able to follow direction and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Attention to documentation and detail
- Committed to residents' privacy, safety, and dignity
- Medication competency is an advantage
- Experience in dementia care is highly desirable
