Angry Group of L&L Food Service Limited, one of Wellington’s largest Asian hospitality groups, is now seeking 5 cooks to join our dynamic team.

With a strong presence in the local market, Angry Group currently operates:

4 Japanese Ramen restaurants (Angry Ramen)

3 Fried Chicken stores (Angry Chicken)

1 authentic Chinese restaurant

1 vibrant café

 

To be right for this role and our organization, you need:

At least 1 year relevant experience or a level 2/3 relevant qualification

Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.

Must be flexible to work late-night shifts and be able to manage two shifts in a day.

Adaptable to change and able to multitask.

Able to work under pressure.

Be reliable and responsible.

Long-term commitment required.

Ability to work independently with confidence.

Time management and punctuality.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook food accordingly
2. Season food by using exceptional cooking techniques
3. Portion food, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding gravies and sauces.
4. Ensure quality of food are always delivered at the highest standard and present to
customers in a timely manner
5. Assist chefs by checking food stocks and place order with suppliers.
6. Teach and supervise kitchen junior staffs.
7. Assist Chefs for planning menu and create recipes.
8. Working with other chefs to discuss food preparation issues.
9. Prepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs.
10. Keep kitchen tidy and clean to meet health and hygiene regulations
11. Manage frozen and fresh food
