This role is for you if…

You are an experienced Clinical Coordinator or senior RN in aged care with very strong clinical leadership skills, who is familiar with (and enjoys) managing large teams and wants real authority to match your responsibility.

This is not a role where you spend your days chasing paperwork or plugging roster gaps. You will lead clinical practice, guide dementia care, and support a large, established team in a facility where clinical leadership is respected.

The role is only available because the previous Clinical Coordinator, who has been with the company for over 10 years, has progressed into a Clinical Manager role.

What your day actually looks like

• Leading clinical practice and dementia care on the floor

• Supporting and mentoring RNs, HCAs and care staff

• Managing clinical complexity with confidence

• Driving quality, safety, and person-centred care

• Working directly with the Care Home Manager, not around them

• Influencing care standards across a site of 89 staff

What you will need to apply for this role

• Current APC - no restrictions

• Strong dementia experience

• Passionate about exceptional aged care quality

• Clinical leadership presence, not just technical skill

• Calm judgement in complex situations

• Ability to guide teams, not micromanage them

• Full working rights in New Zealand
