We are looking for a suitable Duty Manager for our busy establishment in Tauranga. You will need to have an excellent work ethic and will be prepared to have some early mornings and late nights.
Ideally, you will be able to use your knowledge, skills and experience to research new ideas about how we can grow and expand our business. You will also be supporting the Manager and act as a Manager in their absence.
Daily Tasks Involved in the role: Duties are Dealing with suppliers, assisting with hiring, training and supervision of staff, providing excellent customer service, marketing and promoting the establishment, maintaining quality standards, assisting with budgeting, assisting with ordering and maintaining stock and assisting with the financial management of the establishment.
We are looking for a mature staff member who are able to work on their own without any supervision and minimal training. They must be able to communicate to a diverse range of people and be able to maintain professional customer service in any circumstance.
As you will need to closely support the manager and manage the operations of the restaurant on your own during their absence, we require at least a qualification at diploma level or higher or two years of work experience in the same or similar industry. You must have the ability to think on your feet, multitask, and have a passion for excellent customer service. A high standard of hygiene is also required as this is a food business.
Due to the nature of the position, you may be subject to drug testing prior to the provision of an Offer of Employment.

The minimum number of hours for this position is 30 hours a week and the minimum payrate is $30.00 per hour and maximum payrate for this position is $30 per hour.
