About the role

  • Planning menus in consultation with the chefs, including pricing decisions aligned with budgets and cost targets
  • Organising and coordinating special functions, group bookings, and peak service periods
  • Managing stock procurement, supplier relationships, pricing, and inventory control
  • Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, staffing, rosters, and financial transactions

  • Recruiting, training, supervising, and performance-managing front-of-house and kitchen staff
  • Preparing rosters, managing leave, and ensuring staff breaks are taken in accordance with employment requirements
  • Leading the team during service periods, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and assisting with orders when required

You will have full authority over key decisions such as staffing, service standards, and supplier coordination. You are expected to proactively identify issues, implement improvements, and recommend operational changes to support business growth

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Restaurant Manager
  • Must have knowledge of Indian cuisine and spices as this is required for menu planning with chefs, inventory, and staff training in traditional techniques.
