We are looking for a manager to join our team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of related work experience OR 

  • At least a related NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification may substitute for the experience OR

  • a Licence Controller Qualification approved by NZQA and A manager's certificate from the Auckland Council

  • Must have knowledge of Thai food ingredients, as we take food allergies seriously

Job Descriptions

  • Plan menus in consultation with Chefs, ensuring offerings are aligned with customer preferences, seasonal availability, and business goals

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage special functions and events hosted by the restaurant

  • Arrange purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies, and determine pricing of goods in line with budget and profitability targets

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ordering, and financial transactions

  • Ensure all dining and food preparation areas comply with health and safety regulations and are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times

  • Monitor customer satisfaction by engaging with guests and responding promptly to feedback and service issues

  • Recruit, select, train, and supervise waiting staff and kitchen staff to ensure high performance and service standards

  • Oversee staff rosters and daily workflow to ensure efficient restaurant operations

  • Handle reservations, greet guests, and assist with taking orders during busy periods as needed

  • Ensure consistent delivery of quality service and authentic Thai dining experiences

Other Details

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • Wage payment is between $27–$35 per hour, depending on your skills and experience, and you will be paid weekly

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

  • You will be working at 80 Gunner Drive, Te Atatu Peninsula, Auckland

  • We are open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday, 11:30 am–2:30 pm, and for dinner Tuesday to Sunday, 5:00 pm–9:30 pm.

  • You will work according to a roster 5 - 6 days each week, with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
