Store Manager – Pizza Hut (Mana, Wellington)
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a Pizza Hut store in Mana, Wellington. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, high customer service standards, and full compliance with food safety and health & safety requirements.
The Store Manager focuses on single-store operations and reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations to ensure efficient service and a positive customer experience.
- Supervise store staff on shift, including preparing rosters, allocating tasks, and monitoring attendance.
- Conduct staff induction and on-the-job training at store level in line with company and franchise requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health & safety requirements, and company operating procedures.
- Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and basic store reporting.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and place routine orders according to company guidelines.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure store cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and presentation meet brand standards.
- Implement operational procedures, policies, and directives issued by senior management.
- Support company initiatives aimed at improving store performance and service quality.
Skills and Experience Required
- At least two years' experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or food service, or possession of at least a Diploma in Business (Level 6) qualification.
- Practical knowledge of food safety and workplace health & safety practices.
- Strong staff supervision and customer service skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
