Assistant Restaurant Manager - Queenstown
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our hospitality team in Queenstown.
This is a full-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily restaurant operations
- Supervising and training staff
- Preparing staff rosters and managing shifts
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering
- Acting as Restaurant Manager in their absence
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in hospitality supervision or restaurant management
OR - A Diploma (Level 6) or higher qualification in Business Management, Commerce, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of New Zealand food safety and workplace regulations
