We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our friendly and growing team in Hamilton. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) and is suitable for candidates with previous dental laboratory experience, although all skill levels are welcome.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting with the fabrication of dentures and other dental appliances

  • Trimming, polishing, and finishing acrylic work

  • Preparing models and pouring impressions

  • Scanning models using digital scanners

  • 3D printing dental models and appliances

  • Assisting with CAD/CAM designing

  • Maintaining lab equipment and keeping the workspace clean and organised

  • Packing and dispatching cases

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a dental laboratory is required

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Good attention to detail and steady hands

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Full training will be provided, including exposure to digital dentistry workflows such as scanning, 3D printing, and CAD/CAM design. This role provides valuable skills and experience relevant to a career as a dental technician.

Requirements

  • Be NZ citizen or Must hold a valid visa with full legal rights to work in New Zealand

  • Must hold a valid New Zealand driver licence (minimum Restricted)

  • Ability to commit to full-time hours (37.5 hours per week)
