About the Role
Mad Dogs Investments is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Restaurant & Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy hospitality venue. With a team of eight staff, this role requires a confident leader who can manage service standards, staff performance, customer experience, and overall business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
•     Overseeing daily restaurant and bar operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.
•     Managing staff rosters, shift planning, and workflow coordination.
•     Monitoring food and beverage quality, service speed, and customer satisfaction.
•     Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
Staff Leadership & Training
•     Supervising a team of eight, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
•     Training new staff in service standards, bar procedures, and customer care.
•     Maintaining a positive, professional team culture.
Customer Service & Experience
•     Greeting customers, handling enquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
•     Ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and consistently high service standards.
•     Managing bookings, events, and peak‑time service flow.
Financial & Administrative Duties
•     Assisting with budgeting, cost control, and daily/weekly sales reporting.
•     Managing stock levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining supplier relationships.
•     Overseeing cash handling, POS systems, and end‑of‑day reconciliation.
Venue Presentation & Compliance
•     Ensuring the restaurant and bar areas are clean, organised, and well‑presented.
•     Conducting regular checks on equipment, cleanliness, and safety procedures.
•     Ensuring all staff follow company policies and legal requirements.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
•     At least two years of experiences or Level 5 qulifications 
•     Strong leadership and communication skills.
•     Excellent customer service and conflict‑resolution abilities.
•     Good understanding of bar operations, food service, and hospitality compliance.
•     Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
•     Reliable, organised, and committed to high standards of professionalism.
