Chinese Cuisine Cook wanted in Lake Tekapo

Galaxy Feast Limited, trading as Jade Palace Restaurant, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chinese Cuisine Cook to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese dishes to a high standard

  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency

  • Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements

  • Monitor food stock and order supplies when needed

  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and comply with food safety regulations

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in Chinese cuisine cooking

  • Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese cooking techniques

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work evenings and weekends
