Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for our Indian restaurant based in
Whitianga. This is a permanent full-time offer, and you will be required to
work for minimum 30 hours per week. The pay rate for this role is $30.00 per
hour
Tasks and duties are:
 Plan, organise and coordinate the overall operations of the restaurant.
 Work in consultation with chefs to plan menus and estimate food and
labour costs.
 Manage purchasing, pricing, and stock control to ensure profitability.
 Maintain records of stock levels and financial transactions.
 Recruit, train, supervise and roster staff.
 Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training and
development.
 Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction.
 Organise and manage special functions and events.
 Implement and maintain workplace policies and procedures.
 Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and food hygiene
regulations.
Role requirements:
 Minimum 3 years relevant work experience or relevant tertiary
qualification
 Strong leadership and team management skills.
 Understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety
regulations.
