We are a very busy multi-store BurgerFuel franchise based in Auckland. We are looking for a Store Manager to join our team at our New Lynn store.
The purpose of this role is to run this BurgerFuel store like a finely tuned machine, you’ll be the key commander who oversees the store’s day to day operations and ensures all crew members are motivated, energised and stick to the BurgerFuel rule book (systems and procedures). As the store manager you’ll also take care of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) which ensures the engine (the store) continues to purr by maintaining the store’s budgets and continuously driving your team to maximise sales and increase profitability.
As store manager you have key responsibilities in leading your troops in our mission to serve up the best damn gourmet burgers our customers have ever eaten.
Key responsibilities of the role:
• Responsible for recruiting, training, staff appraisals and assessments
• Motivating, mentoring and leading staff to achieve set goals and KPIs
• Complete store administration (roster, weekly close off, Kitchen Log Book, monthly audits, etc)
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Responsible for financial performance of the store, maintaining store budgets and maximise sales and profitability
• Responsible for food quality, customer service, cleanliness, maintenance of the store
• Adheres to and enforces BurgerFuel policies and guidelines
• Communicate memos and other info from HQ
• Ensure store and staff hygiene is maintained at the highest standard
• Conduct weekly Shift Manager’s Meetings
The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other tasks as directed to ensure these key responsibilities are delivered.
All roles are required to assist with food preparation, store set-up/knockdown and detail cleaning duties.
Experience/qualifications required:
Minimum 2 years QSR experience as a shift manager/supervisor or above including 6 months in a BurgerFuel Store.

Employment is permanent and for a minimum of 30hrs a week
Shifts are between 8am to Midnight Monday to Sunday including public holidays
Pay rate offered is $28 to $29 per hour depending on experience
Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Able to withstand long periods of standing and lifting objects
