We have an exciting opportunity with a well-established client based in Rotorua who is looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join their team!

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NZQA level 4 Trade Certificate in Pastry and Bakery, or

  • A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience working as a Baker in a commercial setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and baking bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items to a high standard

  • Measuring, mixing, and shaping dough according to recipes and specifications

  • Monitoring baking processes to ensure consistent quality and presentation

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment

  • Following food safety and workplace health and safety guidelines

  • Managing stock levels and ordering ingredients when necessary

  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 10pm – 6AM ( weekend shifts may be required)
