Gloria Jean’s Coffees in Takanini is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Café Worker to join our team. The successful applicant will assist with preparing beverages and food items while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and café food items according to company standards.
  • Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately using POS systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the café, including service areas, equipment, and seating areas.
  • Assist with food preparation such as sandwiches, pastries, and light meals.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.

Skills and Attributes Required

  • No formal qualification required.
  • Previous café, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
