We are looking for a Bakery Assistant to join our team in Auckland.

Title: Bakery Assistant

Location: Auckland

Pay Rate: $28 - $30 per hour

Minimum Weekly Hours: 30

Job Duties:

  • Assist with preparation of food and bakery items according to company procedures.
  • Provide customer service by taking orders and assisting customers with product selection.
  • Handle customer transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food preparation and service areas.
  • Assist with storing food items properly and monitoring stock levels.
  • Support daily kitchen and bakery operations during busy periods.
  • Clean work areas, utensils, and equipment and assist with end-of-shift cleaning tasks.
  • Follow all workplace health, safety, and food safety regulations.

Requirements: 

  • 1 year kitchen experience or level 2 qualification
  • Able to start early mornings
