We are looking for an experienced Service/Operations Manager to join our small and friendly team. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available. Work hours are flexible and may include evenings, night shifts, and weekends depending on job requirements. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be well-presented, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should have good numeracy skills and strong written and spoken English, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with other team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations and Service Management
· Plan and coordinate cleaning schedules, special service projects, and occasional event-based cleaning assignments
· Organize and oversee service delivery, ensuring appropriate supply levels and high service standards
· Monitor quality control and client satisfaction
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and relevant regulatory requirements
· Monitor adherence to workplace health and safety standards
Policy & Procedure Development
· Develop and review company policies and procedures relating to customer service and service delivery
· Maintain service standards and operational guidelines
Logistics & Asset Management
· Organize the purchase and maintenance of cleaning equipment, supplies, and company vehicle
· Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory of cleaning products
· Coordinate transport logistics for staff and equipment when required
Client & Public Relations
· Assist with preparing service proposals and coordinating contracts
- Attending meetings and acting as secretary as required
- Maintaining appointment diaries and making travel arrangements
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail, filing correspondence and maintaining records
Staff Supervision & Training
· Control in recruiting, selecting, and onboarding cleaning staff
· Manage the training and supervision to maintain high service standards
· Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Hourly rate or Salary band: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
