At KOKODAK NZ LTD, we are passionate about using fresh, locally sourced New Zealand ingredients to deliver authentic Korean fast food and creative fusion dishes. We are seeking As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare and cook a range of Korean fast food and fusion dishes 
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
  • Operate and regulate ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to ensure proper cooking.
  • Season, portion, and plate dishes with appropriate sauces and garnishes.
  • Store food in temperature-controlled facilities and follow food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with menu planning and estimating food requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in kitchen, or a Certificate in cookery, or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
  • Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and support team operations.

Role Details:

  • Minimum Guaranteed Hours: At least 30 hours weekly (up to 48 hours)
  • Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
