We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead our fast-paced food service operations in Auckland. This role is key to ensuring smooth business operations, high-quality service, and overall team performance. You will be working from Monday to Sunday with minimum 30 hours and maximum of 40 hours per week.
Duties and responsibilities
· Oversee day-to-day operations including kitchen, front-of-house, and inventory management
· Lead, motivate, and manage staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
· Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability
· Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
· Maintain high standards of food quality and service excellence
· Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
· Coordinate with suppliers and manage stock levels to minimize waste and ensure availability
· Implement company policies and procedures consistently across all departments
· Foster a positive and team-oriented work culture
· Identify opportunities for growth and expansion
Job Requirements:
· Should have 2 years of industry work experience or should have at least Level 5 or higher qualification in Management.
· Strong leadership and team management skills
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
· Knowledge of financial management, budgeting and reporting
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs
· Strong work ethic, reliability and professionalism
· Clean character background

Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $32 to $40 per hour.
