Manager

A competent and skilled Manager x1 is required for our Takeaway located in Redwood, Christchurch.

For this position:

1. You will be required to work atleast 30 hours every week.
2. Weekend work is compulsory.
3. The pay rate will be $24

As a Store Manager of the Takeaway business in Redwood, your responsibilities would be:

• Take charge of the overall operations and management of the shop.
• Manage day to day operations and functioning of the shop.
• Create, execute and maintain pricing, marketing and purchasing policies
  of the menu to increase profitability and sales.
• Keep track of all financial activities and manage stock levels.
• Manage the staff and ensure staff cover their working hours.
• Plan, monitor and action the monthly and annual budget for the shop for
  the director to approve. Keep track of demands and profits to improve
  sales and develop business strategies.
• Market and promote the food products offered by the store.
• Resolve customer grivances, revert to google reviews and address issues as
  and when necessary .
• Ensure food hygene and quality is maintained by staff at all times. Ensure that all food safety is ensured and all necessary regulations are complied with.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies.
• Manage complete personnel hiring, training, monitoring and performance
  review activities.
• Strategise on advertising and promotions to increase sales and profits.
• Verify and ensure adherence to safety and health laws in the workplace at all times.

Skills and knowledge requirements for the above explained position: -

• At least 1 year of experience or a NZQA level 4 qualification in the relevant field.
• Understanding of food preparation to perfection and presented in an appealing manner.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of culinary trends and kitchen operations.
• The ability to work additional hours and under pressure.
• Good Personal hygiene.
• No criminal record
