A competent and skilled Manager x1 is required for our Takeaway located in Redwood, Christchurch.
For this position:
- You will be required to work atleast 30 hours every week.
- Weekend work is compulsory.
- The pay rate will be $24
As a Store Manager of the Takeaway business in Redwood, your responsibilities would be:
- Take charge of the overall operations and management of the shop.
- Manage day to day operations and functioning of the shop.
- Create, execute and maintain pricing, marketing and purchasing policies
of the menu to increase profitability and sales. - Keep track of all financial activities and manage stock levels.
- Manage the staff and ensure staff cover their working hours.
- Plan, monitor and action the monthly and annual budget for the shop for
the director to approve. Keep track of demands and profits to improve
sales and develop business strategies. - Market and promote the food products offered by the store.
- Resolve customer grivances, revert to google reviews and address issues as
and when necessary . - Ensure food hygene and quality is maintained by staff at all times. Ensure that all food safety is ensured and all necessary regulations are complied with.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies.
- Manage complete personnel hiring, training, monitoring and performance
review activities. - Strategise on advertising and promotions to increase sales and profits.
- Verify and ensure adherence to safety and health laws in the workplace at all times.
Skills and knowledge requirements for the above explained position: -
- At least 1 year of experience or a NZQA level 4 qualification in the relevant field.
- Understanding of food preparation to perfection and presented in an appealing manner.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of culinary trends and kitchen operations.
- The ability to work additional hours and under pressure.
- Good Personal hygiene.
- No criminal record
