Beijing Tong Ren Tang, established in 1669, is the most famous Traditional Chinese Medicine Enterprise. Beijing Tong Ren Tang (Auckland) Company Ltd is its subsidiary company and has 7 branches across New Zealand. We are the biggest Traditional Chinese Medicine chained company. Together with our 50+ employees, we are trying our best to serve New Zealanders with excellent traditional Chinese medical skills.
We now need a Tradition Chinese Medicine Practitioner, this is a full-time position with workload of at least 30 hours per week.
The following duties are required of this role:
· Maintain and follow standard quality, safety, environmental and infection control policies and procedures.
· Adhere to local, state and federal laws, regulations and statutes.
· Identify correct anatomical and proportional point locations based on patients' anatomy and positions, contraindications, and precautions related to treatments such as intradermal needles, moxibution, electricity, guasha, and bleeding.
· Maintain detailed and complete records of health care plans and prognoses.
· Analyze physical findings and medical histories to make diagnoses according to Oriental medicine traditions.
· Treat patients using tools such as needles, cups, ear balls, seeds, pellets, and nutritional supplements.
· Develop individual treatment plans and strategies.
· Evaluate treatment outcomes and recommend new or altered treatments as necessary to further promote, restore, or maintain health.
· Collect medical histories and general health and life style information from patients.
To successfully carry out these tasks, ideal candidate should
· Have at least five year’s experience as TCM practitioner, or at least Bachelor Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or Acupuncture or other related area
· Ability to conduct patient consultations and assess health conditions using TCM diagnostic methods.
· Competence in developing and implementing individualised treatment plans.
· Knowledge of hygiene, infection control, and health & safety requirements in a clinical setting.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
