True Line Limited, a thriving restaurant group in Auckland, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, drive customer satisfaction, and lead our team to success.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a minimum 40 hrs/week.

Restaurant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including staff rostering, training, and performance.

  • Ensure exceptional food and service quality while meeting health, safety, and compliance standards.

  • Handle inventory, budgeting, and cost control to maximise profitability.

  • Build strong customer relationships and implement strategies to boost sales and repeat business and exceptional guest experiences.

  • Lead by example in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Lead a dynamic team of 10-15 staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Train and mentor staff, cultivating a motivated and high-performing team.

What We’re Looking For & What We Offer:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality management (Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar setting.) OR a relevant Diploma or higher education.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of hospitality regulations, food safety and POS systems.

  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage trends.

  • Expertise in service sequencing, staff training, and roster management.

  • Strong financial acumen with a focus on profitability and budget management.

  • A proactive, hands-on leader with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

  • Full-time role (minimum 40 hours/week) with remuneration between $30-$35 per hour for the right candidate.
