We are seeking a motivated and reliable Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy store in Albany, Auckland. This role is responsible for managing store operations, supervising staff, maintaining service standards, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
The Store Manager will organise and control the daily operations of the store and ensure efficient business performance. Duties include:
- Organising and supervising daily store operations to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow
- Determining product mix, stock levels, and purchasing requirements
- Implementing pricing strategies, promotions, and merchandising activities
- Analysing sales trends and implementing strategies to improve store performance
- Maintaining records of stock levels, financial transactions, and store performance
- Managing inventory ordering and maintaining supplier relationships
- Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering store staff
- Ensuring high standards of customer service and resolving customer concerns
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety, and employment regulations
- Implementing company operational procedures and maintaining quality standards
- Planning and coordinating marketing and promotional activities to increase store revenue
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
Applicants will need to meet one of the following requirements:
- A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or higher in Business, Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field
OR
- At least three years of relevant retail, hospitality, or store management experience
Additional requirements:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to manage overall store operations independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work rostered shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- The ability to work in a fast-paced retail and food service environment
- The successful applicant may be required to undergo a drug test and police check.
Experience in the pizza or quick-service food industry will be an advantage.
