Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Client Portfolio & Relationship Management

  • Manage a portfolio of clients and build long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide account support, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Act as the main point of contact for high-value customers and retail partners.

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in wholesale, retail, and hospitality sectors.
  • Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.

Negotiation & Deal Management

  • Prepare and present tailored sales proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and supply terms with key accounts.
  • Successfully close deals that are profitable and aligned with company objectives.

Brand Development & Market Presence

  • Direct strategies to promote the company’s product range, reinforcing brand loyalty.
  • Implement promotional activities and campaigns that enhance market visibility.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a strong company image and reputation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, customer service etc to ensure service excellence.
  • Provide client feedback to improve product offerings, supply chain processes, and service delivery.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance against set targets and adjust strategies where necessary.
  • Analyse data on sales, customer behaviour, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and presentations for senior management.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Must have either any Bachelor degree, OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct market research and translate insights into sales opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with commercial acumen.
