We are looking for a motivated and reliable Hotel Manager to join our vibrant team in Christchurch, Canterbury. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours per week with a pay rate between $28 -$35 p/h.

Days Required: As per roster

Tasks Include:

  • directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
  • supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
  • planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities
  • observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations
  • assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
  • overseeing accounting and purchasing activities
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • may provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation

 

You will need:

·       At least 2 years’ experience as a cook, or a Level 4 or higher qualification in cookery, hotel management, or a related field.

·       Strong teamwork and communication skills.

·       Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
