We are seeking a motivated Cafe Manager to join our team at our popular Café The Brunchery in Grey Lynn, Auckland.

As a Café Manager, you will be responsible for Organising and controlling the operations of
a cafe and provide services to our valued customers.
Location: Grey Lynn, Auckland
Job type Full time – 30 hours Minimum per week, based on a rotating Roster.
Duration: Permanent
Pay Bracket: Minimum Pay rate will be $30.00 per hour, and the employer is
willing to go up to $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Plan menus in consultation with chefs to ensure quality and variety for
customers.
Plan and organise special functions and events hosted by the Cafe.
Manage purchasing and pricing of goods in line with operational
budgets.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.
Ensure dining facilities comply with health and safety regulations and
are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Liaise with customers to assess satisfaction with meals, service, and
overall dining experience.
Recruit, train, and supervise waiting and kitchen staff to ensure
efficient service delivery.
Manage reservations, welcome guests, and assist with taking orders
when required.
Need to have a barista experience.
We are looking for candidates with the preferred attributes:
Relevant 2 years’ experience in a similar role OR Relevant Qualification. A
bachelor’s degree or Higher qualification in any field will be acceptable as
relevant.
Knowledge of Operations and daily tasks. Excellent Communication and
interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
