Fush and Chups is takeaway located at Hamilton and  We are looking for 1 Kitchen hand. This is a full-time permanent role with a minimum of 30 hours per week at the rate of $24 to $27 per hour in Hamilton. The job will be roasted from Monday to Sunday.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time (30-35hour), Permanent

  • Pay Rate: $24–$27 per hour.

Job Duties may include but not limited to:

  • Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, glassware, and kitchen equipment using manual and commercial dishwashing machines.

  • Assist cooks with basic food preparation tasks including washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and portioning vegetables, fruits, meats, and other ingredients.

  • Prepare simple food items such as salads, sandwiches, garnishes, and cold dishes under supervision.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations, storage rooms, and food preparation areas.

  • Clean kitchen appliances, ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, freezers and others

  • Remove waste, empty bins, and ensure proper waste segregation in accordance with hygiene and environmental standards.

  • Receive deliveries, check stock quality and quantity, label items, and store food and supplies correctly following FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.

  • Assist in setting up kitchen stations before service and packing down after service.

  • Support other staff during busy service periods to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report shortages or maintenance issues

  • Follow instructions from Manager or Cook and maintain teamwork

Education and Experience:

No experience or education needed -on site training will be provided.

Mandatory requirements- Police clearance and drug test check.
