Tasty Tide Limited is looking for a FOH Staff/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be supporting daily restaurent operations, delivering excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and positive environment.

  • Position: FOH Staff/Kitchen Assistant
  • Pay Rate: $26 - $28
  • Minimum Weekly Hours: 30
  • Maximum Weekly Hours: 55
  • Location: Bay of Plenty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Serve meals and drinks promptly
  • Handle payments using POS systems (cash/EFTPOS)
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and tables
  • Assist customers with menu questions and recommendations
  • Manage bookings and takeaway orders
  • Ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Assist with basic food preparation
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas
  • Dispose of waste and manage recycling
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients
  • Support kitchen staff during busy periods

Requirements:

  • 1 year’ experience OR any Level 3 qualification
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
  • Available on weekends.
