About the Role:

This role is ideal for someone with excellent work ethics, a passion for the culinary industry, and an eye for detail and presentation. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and handle a fast-paced kitchen environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies.
• Ensuring food preparation, cooking, and service meet menu specifications. 
• Maintaining the quality of dishes during all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Conducting weekly stocktakes and maintaining optimal stock levels.
• Enforcing hygiene regulations and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Managing kitchen staff, controlling labour costs, and assisting in staff training. 

Key Requirements: 

• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience OR Relavent Qualification is requierd.
• Certifications: Food Safety Certificate and/or a qualification in Cookery is an advantage.
• Skills: Effective customer and people management skills, Strong time management and leadership abilities, Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment, Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts based on operational needs
• Preferred Background: Previous experience in a reputed restaurant or hotel

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen OR Relavent Qaulification
• Time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Innovative and Creative
• Physically fit and hard working
• Willing to work till 10AM to 10 PM Monday to Sunday as per the roster
• Availability during late night closing Weekends Public Holidays and during Christmas and New Years Break
