Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greet, welcome and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a high standard of
    customer service
  • Assist guests during their stay and respond to their needs, inquiries and
    requests -Arrange and manage reservations, bookings and accommodation
    services
  • Answer, screen and direct telephone calls in a professional manner
  • Handle guest check-outs, payments and related transactions accurately
  • Receive and resolve complaints from guests and the public in a timely and
    professional manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding the motel’s services, facilities and local
    attractions
  • Maintain and update booking systems, guest records and administrative
    documentation
  • Receive, sort and distribute correspondence, deliveries and messages
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and professional reception area
  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry, filing, email handling
    and photocopying
  • Work collaboratively with housekeeping and management to ensure smooth daily operations

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • NZQF Level 2 qualification is required
  • At least three year of relevant work experience in relevant industry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use booking systems
  • Professional, reliable and well-presented
