COOK

We need 2 cooks.

 Please note: you will be required to work in multiple locations including our restaurants

in Nelson and Richmond, Tasman.

Requirements: 

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
• You must be able to work under pressure, at a fast pace and follow instructions.
• You must have a clean MOJ record, and be able to pass pre-employment Drug and alcohol tests.
• Have great responsibility

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu requirements
• Seasoning food during cooking to enhance flavour
• Portioning food and placing it on plates in an appealing manner
• Monitoring food quality at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Storing food safely and maintaining proper food storage practices
• Assisting with menu planning and estimating food requirements
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and work areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Checking the freshness of food and ingredients
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Employment Details:

• Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 48 hours.
• Hourly remuneration ranges from $25 to $28, based on experience.
• Tuesday to Sunday
