Pizza Hut is a well-established restaurant in the South Auckland locality with a high attention to detail. You will be working from Monday to Sunday as per the roaster between minimum 30 hours and maximum of 45 hours per week.

 

Job responsibilities

·       Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients

·       Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment

·       Arrange food on plates or wrap takeaways

·       Assisting with maintaining food production supplies and materials.

·       Menu planning, preparing food cost reports and recommendation for the most cost-effective recipes.

·       Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables and other foods

·       Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers

·       Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes

·       Monitoring the quality of food taste and presentation of dishes.

·       Staff training and Health & safety and Hygiene matters within the kitchen.

·       Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures.

·       Ensure compliance obligations are met in relation to Food Hygiene

·       Innovation; bringing new ideas, creativity, techniques, and trends to the table.

·       Collaborate with the wider team, share ideas to contribute to the business growth and exceed customer experiences.

 

Job Requirements:

·       Should have at least 2 years of work experience in food industry or Level 4 or above qualification in culinary art.

·       Good communication skills/time management skills

·       Good personal hygiene

·       Understanding of food safety standards

·       Willing to learn and can bring their flavour

Salary can be negotiated as per your experience level between $25 to $30 per hour.
